Big improvements to Blackbushe
The last two weeks have seen a huge amount of work going on. The replacement lighting system has had all of the ducting installed as well as lighting bases and pits. We’re very nearly ready to start installing the light fittings themselves.
We’ve also used the runway closure to make repairs to the runway and some taxiway areas whilst aircraft don’t need to move around. And we’ve taken the opportunity to replace the runway end fence which was starting to fall apart. The new fence looks much smarter and has refreshed signage.
